About Us
History
Believers Fellowship began in 1982 as a church/school by John and Alisa Williamson, along with a small group of people in Vale, South Dakota.
In the fall of 1985 the church moved to Sturgis and met in the tiny, storefront room of a glass shop (what is now The Nuckle Brewing).
After outgrowing that facility, a new building was constructed on 17 acres just outside of Sturgis in the spring of 1990.
Since then the church and building has grown as well as its vision to train quality leadership to see God’s kingdom advance.
On May 13, 2023 we lost our building to a fire. We are currently meeting at a temporary location (2460 South Baldwin St, Sturgis) with plans to rebuild.
